Inspectors must always abide by public safety guidelines and follow all environmental regulations in order to promote a secure environment around the piping system. Verification of all International codes, specifications, and procedures are met.
A QC Piping inspector has a variety of duties like performing visual inspection of piping installation, Review Plan Diagram, P&ID, Isometric Drawing and Weld Map Drawing. Inspection of piping materials (pipe, valves and fittings).Inspection of support, preparation of punch list, Reviewing welding summary and NDT report.Witnessing final piping (hydro, pneumatic, service & visual) tests. Preparation of documents required for inspection like RFI, pressure test report, cleaning report, bolt torque & re-instatement report, according to the ITP, applicable codes and standards. Completing and endorsing all inspection records from initial inspection till final acceptance of the piping systems. Maintaining interface with the Client to ensure that all contractual and code requirements are met as far as the inspection scope is concerned.
Impellent Industrial Inspection Services provides complete training about the inspection of piping and piping testing in a construction site, as well as in operational plants.
Training provides you lot of invaluable information about following items:
- Inspection and Testing During the Construction Phase
- Inspection and Testing During the Operation Phase
- Piping System Codes and Regulations
- Maintenance and Repairs
After training any one can get opportunity to work as construction Quality Control Personnel, Second and Third Party Inspectors, QC Piping Inspectors and any Other Interested Individuals.
ASNT-NDT Level II (NDT Inspector)
Non-destructive Testing (NDT) is a very broad interdisciplinary field. NDT play an important role in ensuring systems and structural components perform their function effectively. NDT provides a balance between cost-effectiveness and quality control. Nowadays, NDT technology continues to grow. Because of this, you might want to venture out being an NDT Inspector. This is a challenging career field filled with opportunities for advancement and growth.
An NDT Inspector is a highly trained individual who is responsible for finding damage in any products, components, or systems before it becomes a major problem. They find damage before it reaches to its limit. They use NDT techniques and methods to ensure safety of any component or structure.
Duties of an NDT Inspector
The NDT Inspector has a wide range of responsibilities depending in what industry he/she is employed. In general, the NDT Inspector is responsible for all required NDT inspection hold points that have been developed and established by NDT project specifications and methods. NDT Inspectors are responsible for any quality related NDT issues in the field or industry
The NDT Inspector ensures correct implementation of project quality plan in an industry. In a manufacturing industry, the NDT Inspector monitors the pipeline NDT activities for all welding repairs on daily basis. NDT Inspectors ensure that project specifications are accomplished in a timely and an accurate manner. In addition to that, they also ensure that reports that are required are completed accordingly to the project specifications.
The NDT inspector works in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Manager. He/she discusses NDT deficiencies, safe and quality specifications to the Quality Assurance Manager including the negative inspections. Aside from that, he/she brings any security, safety, and environmental issues to the attention of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager.
The NDT inspector also works in maintaining NDT inspection documents and related quality documents according to the project quality plan.
Future of an NDT Inspector
The NDT Inspector may work in the field such as rail inspection, aircraft inspection, bridge inspection, storage tank inspection, wire rope inspection, and pipeline inspection. He/she is always present in each industry operation. They may work for long hours depending on what is required by the industry.
The work of an NDT Inspector can be very rewarding. NDT Inspectors work hard to keep products and systems operating safely. The sense that you are helping people by preventing accidents to occur is very satisfying. To progress in this job, one must continue their education and training in NDT technology. An NDT inspector can accelerate into management positions in the industry.
Diligence is a mother of a good fortune. Success comes when you love your work and you do your job well. NDT technology continues to grow. Because of this, the demand of a qualified NDT inspector is high. An NDT inspector could be a good career for you.
If you are interested to be an NDT Inspector, Impellent Industrial Inspection Services will provide you complete training, Certification and guidelines.
HVAC / HVAC (QA/QC)
Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) technology is the process of controlling and maintaining the inner atmospheric temperature of manmade structures and buildings. The technology in basically based on mechanical engineering and it is calling HVAC engineering. The demand and use of HVAC systems and equipments rising across the sectors globally at various places including household buildings and commercial edifices. The whole industry is comprised with various technologies encouraging engineering graduates or industry professionals to join HVAC course and work in this well-diversified industry with better occupational scope and pay scale. Hence, before they proceed they need to understand the nature of work & complexities of HVAC System to work efficiently.
Heating Ventilation Systems
Heating technology is widely used at various stages in different fields; in household it is used in ovens, while in industrial sector it is used furnaces through various modes like conduction, convection and radiation. Engineering professionals learning with HVAC course will get to know what type of technology is used in different systems at different locations. The technology is also used in heating equipped ACs to control the excessive cold temperature of indoor rooms. In Polar Regions or other colder places on earth without use of heating technology it not possible to survive in normal conditions.
Ventilation is the process of circulating the air flow to control its temperature or reduce the existence of atmospheric elements, airborne substances, gases and other air compounds that include odors, smoke, heat, dust, moisture, airborne bacteria, or other harmful gases etc. The process involves the inflow, outflow or circulation of air within or outside the building area to maintain the quality of air, either through mechanical forces or natural sources of energies.HVAC Course also provides complete training to learn the functioning and repair or maintenance of air ventilation systems and equipments.
Air Conditioning Systems
The most important and most widely used technology in HVAC industry, Air conditioning technology is directly related with removal of heat and minimizing the temperature of targeted atmosphere that includes, building rooms, chambers and cabinet space. The whole process work through convection, radiation or conduction and water, air, ice, and chemicals are used as refrigerants in the whole Air conditioning process. The technology is used in household ACs, commercial compartments to preserve the food items or provide the cool atmosphere to users. Engineers or Working professionals studying with HVAC course need to learn the process and complexities of air conditioning systems and equipments installed at various places.
Overall, the HVAC industry is very much diversified with multiple interrelated technologies and working professionals have wider scope of occupational opportunities, only they need to understand the concept to work in a particular subfield skillfully.
So if you are seeking job opportunities as a HVAC Engineer or QA/QC HVAC Engineer, Impellent Industrial Inspection Services will provide complete training, Certification and guideline.
